The course duration was set over a 14-week period for the Spring sessions of 2003 and 2004. Sessions were held once weekly on Saturdays. The partner countries following the courses were Greece, Morocco, Jordan and Algeria. The summer sessions in 2003 and 2004 were held over an intensive 3-week period with lessons being transmitted every day for 8 hours per day.
At the end of the courses the participants had the option of sitting for an end of course exam, which was one of the requirements for the eligibility of the degree programme scholarship at the Malta Centre for Restoration.
Exams were also held via satellite-enabled videoconferencing, where students from the partner countries were synchronously sitting for their exams in all the subjects covered within each course.
